Princeton Mock Trial is a student-run undergraduate organization established in 1998. We compete in American Mock Trial Association (AMTA)-organized tournaments throughout the year. Using a fictional criminal or civil legal case provided by AMTA, Princeton's three teams compete against other university programs in trial simulations as either the plaintiff/prosecution or defense in the case. Each team is comprised of around eight members. In any given trial, six members compete: three attorneys and three witnesses. Out of over 600 mock trial teams in the nation Princeton placed 2nd (2014) and 10th (2015) in America.

From engineers to fine arts majors, freshmen to seniors, high school mock trial champions to total newcomers, we represent a diverse group of students that share a love for public speaking, critical thinking, acting, improv and crime fiction.
